This world has so much to offer its population. Everywhere around us, there is something to be learned. I love learning. I love knowing new things. This is why I decided to become a teacher. I want generations after me to get excited about learning and see the benefits of learning. I want to create a curious generation that clearly asks the question WHY?
Being that there are soooooooooooo many things in the world to know and learn, I've decided to publish some of the things that I learn in this blog. Learning isn't just anything you read out of a textbook (although it can be), I think learning can be as simple as paying attention, which so many of us do not.
So the one thing I learned today...
Today I learned what those little orange icons at the bottom of web pages mean. Usually when I drag my cursor over the orange icon the letters RSS will appear. APPARENTLY that is a way to subscribe a blog or website so the INFORMATION COMES TO YOU, instead of you going to the information. Interesting...

All this is true. We do learn from experinces and as teachers we have to rember that students learn through play
ReplyDeleteI had no clue what the orange icons were until last week either! I like your description of what learning is. You learn just as much outside of the classroom as in it.
